And clearly Marvel likes them some british accents anyway
Is Bushmaster jamaican in the comics or was that a netflix thing? I honestly can't remember

Avengers Secret Wars is finally available on Netflix (after they fixed the glitch). Not much BP so far but I'm at episode 3 (which was Vision-centric).

Marvel says the original Bushmaster was born in the Caribbean but is an American citizen, so him being Jamaican in the tv show was definitely a creative choice.

Shame Marvel Studios and Marvel TV don't collaborate often because a Bushmaster and BP fight/team up/interaction would be fun to watch.

*New Border Tribe leader escorts Bushmaster into the thrown room*

T'Challa: "You are in Wakanda now, and I am in the king of Wakanda and the Black Panther. The Black Panther has been the protector of Wakanda for generations. A mantle passed from warrior to warrio-"

Bushmaster: "Well dem call me Bushmaster, and this not your yard, boy."

T'Challa: "Did you hear a word I just said? This is my countr-"

Bushmaster: "Wakanda is mine. Ah mi birthright, you know?"

T'Challa: *gestures to royal guardsmen* "Take him away"

Bushmaster: *in Xhosa* "I AM PRINCE N'JOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBO! OTHER SON OF PRINCE N'JOBU!"

    Ramonda: "Not this **** again!"

T'Challa: *to the elders* "Who just asked him who he was again?!"

The actor playing Bushmaster auditioned for M'Baku but got beat out by Winston. So clearly a BP/M'Baku vs Erik/BM tag team meta grudge match needs to happen.

    Can't have a dominant Shaq/Kobe dynamic with M'Baku/T'Challa if M'Baku is more Horce Grant than 2001 Shaq-Fu

What's the point of the big man if the guard is stronger, more durable, and ultimately the bigger bully in the paint?

    M'Baku should level up

Right now, he's taken W'kabi's spot as T'challa's best, underpowered buddy who could very well turn on him if plot dictates.

And we all know what happened to W'kabi when he ran up all confident on an enhanced dude

I stopped playing after season 2 bc after that it just felt like a cash grab (and it's evident now they were short on funds...) but man, that season 1 tho...
Telltale games were more like movies than actual video games you had some slight influences and could shift the story to one of 3 conclusions. After 2013 it felt a little too rinse and repeat for me.

The way Infinity War ended killed all my hopes of M'Baku being a villain.

My idea was that the battle would cost some of his people and injure him greatly. Shuri does what she can with him at her lab, but he's still weak. He's angry at T'Challa for allowing outsiders into Wakanda, particularly bringing an Infinity stone which led Thanos there. One of his men tells him about the sacred blood of the white gorillas and how it can make one strong. M'Baku refuses because we all know how much he loves animals and is a vegetarian, and also a holy man with the white gorilla being a sacred animal. Say something happens and M'Baku almost dies, and a Jabari performs the ritual on M'Baku without his permission. M'Baku awakes stronger than ever and claims to have received a vision from Haruman himself on what will happen if the Black Panther is not destroyed. Haruman claims Bast's chosen will be the end of Wakanda, and M'Baku has been given the strength to end the Black Panther.

The aim is to make him a bit of a reluctant and extremist religious terrorist. The Jabari are the ethnical and religious minority in Wakanda (and may have been exiled for that reason, or they can claim to have been). M'Baku is solely motivated by Haruman's (possibly misinterpreted) instructions, and because the Jabari and their religion have been underrepresented.

I'm glad that part showed what would happen if a normal guy tried to punch T'Challa in the head with his suit on.

Also, T'Challa probably wasn't trying to hurt W'Kabi and still sent him flying with a kick. His strength is something else.

Well we at least know for a regular guy, M'Baku has impressive strength since he can lift dudes with one arm and throw them at least 6 feat

    Alternate, similar possibility:

    - After fighting an alien army surrounded by people with super powers, gods, titans, ect... M'baku feels he isn't enough to protect his people anymore.

    - undergoes the dangerous ritual of the White Gorilla

    - despite his best intentions, the power corrupts M'baku, as Haruman really wants to supplant Bast and therefore T'challa.

In the end, T'challa has to be forced with the difficult decision to kill someone who saved his life in order to protect Bast and Wakanda.

If you wanted to, you can end it similar to The Client... T'challa offers himself to Haruman in exchange for M'baku's life... but it is a trap thanks to the Panther spirits in the Djalia.

Gotta give W'kabi bonus points for the rhino sized balls to run up on him lik ethat.
