The problem is BP keeps getting compared to superhero movies when it went out of it's way to establish there was more substance to it then simply punching villains.

Which is why is up there as one of the best mcu films. However if the action was better, it probably would have been the best or at least top 3. That will be the ultimate icing on the cake.

Nothing wrong with simply punching villains. When people see the genre category of a film to be in the action category, they are going to expect some good action to be displayed.

Honestly the only parts that were off ,( in theaters) was the trafficking scene being dark and ,10~ seconds of the mine fight which both of those look great on Blu-ray. Not sure what needed to be improved. Tossing around more fodder?

I can see what's happening, and they don't have a clue. They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line, our duo's up to three. The sweet caress of twilight, there's magic everywhere, and with all this romantic atmosphere... this book still gonna crash and burn in 6 issues :/

So T’challa left with Manifold to investigate a portal in space. Ok some things are starting to make sense. Art style is going to take some getting used to, but I’m so glad Shuri’s character has been changed up. This version actually seems likable. Just hope the story is actually good now **fingers crossed**

I went into my LCS today to pick up a few things. Some of the customers were saying some good things about the latest Marvel relaunches. BP wasn't one of them. Not bashing, just not understand the point of the story.

Anyway, I picked up some pretty good half-priced trades.

It was actually brighter the second time I saw it in the theater which was in IMAX but damn that fight was way too short and before you knew what was going on it was over.
