Interested in reading Daredevil? Not sure what to read next? Why not check out the Daredevil Book Club for some ideas?
Im sort of conflicted. On the one hand I appreciate that Aaron is seemingly ignoring Coates by having Tchalla appear to run the Wakanda side of the show unquestioned. But on the other hand, his title in the solo book being ceremonial helps to prevent conflicts of interest with other governments.
Also one pet peeve, They gave Wakanda advanced looking battleships. We can do better than that. lol

Well, that's a cool looking cover at least.

well at least the art is on point
The J-man
Avengers #700 was kinda weak...
The dialogue is a bit too cheesy, phoned in, and one dimensional like one of those early '00s saturday morning cartoons.. Namor just needed a twirling mustache during his lines.
I don't even find the BP stuff worth the energy one way or another bc all the Avengers are just kinda there getting crumbs, not really doing much. Fire extinguishers... lol...
Why did the block-face drawing artist come back? I thought we were past that.
Wesley huh?
Which Hyperion is that?
And is that JMS's Nighthawk that they're further bastardizing, or is that a new black Nighthawk, or does buddy just have a tan? And if it's the first one, then him vs T'Challa is about 3 years too late. Really 13 years too late, but whatever.
I skipped all the short stories in the back end due to boredom and disinterest, but i'm sure Robbie/Odin and Loki/Logan was very important and whatnot.
the last story is the best story. You should read that and be pumped.
Outside of Redjack's Panther Quest and that Exiles Elseworld Western BP this is all we got. Aaron writes a competent T'Challa for once he ain't getting beat down left and right. I wasn't crazy about the first arc (it reeked of blandness) but he never did T'Challa dirty. In the current landscape that means something. Will see what the future issues hold.
Considering Aaron's writing Namor stronger than Thor and Captain Marvel, I think he handled T'Challa pretty well. Black Panther hasn't gotten a "moment" per se, but he hasn't been background or written out of character either. Namor lifted that massive structure with ease and wasn't even winded. There are 4 Original Defenders: Hulk, Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange and Namor. T'Challa won this encounter but Namor didn't loo bad either so I think it was handled well.
Outside of the movie afterglow. We got 3 things going for T'Challa right now. Panther's Quest, Exiles and Avengers. So far so good. The Shuri book is her own chance to shine. Hope it lasts.
Now i will admit I think Aaron is just doing whatever he wants with T'Challa (that explosive, the extinguishers), but he's still keeping him as that pragmatic genius level tactician. T'Challa should above all else be highly competent. Keep it going Jason.
Aaron could have easily brought out US Agent here, he didn't and I appreciate this. Not the best comic in the world but a lot of fun.

^^Exiles T'Challa is awesome. That's an indisputable fact
Aaron's Avengers reminds me of Ewing's Ultimates
Bored to death by the plot and focus on ancillary characters, but our buddy gets 1-2 pages of random dues ex-machina powers every other issue or two,
So you roll with it
