i'm relatively certain the last film I watched was Jennifer's Body. I remember being in middle school when it came out, I really dug it but i remember people HATING that movie. I came across a shirt with the movie on it the other day and decided to revisit it to see if it holds up; it did. It's definitely in my top 10 horror movies.

The first 2 eps of Daredevil S1. They work as a movie on their own but I couldn't remember them being that dark. Great introduction to the character still.

ouuu, speaking of shows that work as movies, I used to do the same thing when Ghost Rider was on Agents of Shield. I actually downloaded all the episodes and edited all the scenes relevant to his storyline together into one long supercut/movie. it worked as a pretty solid Marvel TV movie unfortunately it's gone forever now, since my old computer got messed up when I moved

As far as I'm concerned, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA was first a theatrical movie, before it was a T.V. show. The pilot movie was released in Canada in theatres, in July of 1978, and I went with my sister to see it. We both loved it (anY movie with Lorne Greene AND Richard Hatch was going to win us over). I thought it was a lot better movie than STAR WARS, which I'd seen the previous summer.

The cast and trailer do look great but a few years ago I read the novel and it was too disturbing. Might still check it out, though

There's only one Ghost Rider and he's not fond of bees

LE CAPORAL ÉPINGLÉ (1962), directed by Jean Renoir, starring Jean-Pierre Cassel.

One of Renoir's last movies, it's similar to his LE GRANDE ILLUSION (1937) and John Sturges' THE GREAT ESCAPE (1963). But where THE GREAT ESCAPE has those heroics that Americans admire, these French P.O.W.s are more prone to discussions of philosophy and political economy. Also, in LE GRANDE ILLUSION as bad as the Great War might be, there's a sense that neither side is all good or all bad. But in LE CAPORAL ÉPINGLÉ, the use of documentary footage reminds one just how ruinous Hitler was to humanity.

    Default just watched:

Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) dir. by Shaka King, starring Daniel Kaluuya and written by Will Berson, Shaka King, The Lucas Brothers on HBO max. (tryna be formal like y'all )

great movie, it made me angry as hell! it's extremely timely given America just watched their government fail to dole out consequences for an actual domestic terrorist crime. As a person of color who great up in a relatively political household that was also heavy on big pop culture, I am the last person rushing out to see the latest oppression porn struggle movie but what I felt this film did well was it played it smart and focused on making a good movie first and foremost. Everyone kills it in their roles, but it's very much Daniel Kaluuya and LaKeith Stanfield's movie, and Kaluuya especially doesn't let you forget that every single time he's on screen. Lil Rel Howery has one scene but it's probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite scene in the whole movie. it's a high 8 to a strong 9, definitely would recommend

although, obviously be mindful of the subject matter. I think the people who won't like this movie can read the synopsis or watch the trailer and know it's not their taste.

    Big Bang Theory-

It's easier to rewatch now that it ended. I actually have more sympathy for the back and forth aspects now I'm close to being 30 years old. Adulthood can be meandering.

But watching these screw-ups figure their crap out in the last seasons is touching.

    Wonder Woman 1984

A sad (in a good way) and beautiful movie. 20 minutes too long for my taste, dragged a bit, but a smile from Gal Gadot and you forget time ;-)

I loved it that they bought the invisible Jet into the story, and some other stuff I don't want to spoil.

Captain Marvel. This is my second time. What a well done movie. It is always watchable and enjoyable throughout. And Brie Lawson is near perfect. All the other cast holds up too. Love the young Fury. Don't understand why people have a problem with this movie, but I can't find a fault. In the upper half of the Marvel movies for me.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I believe people have a problem with this movie because they don't like Brie. Go to YouTube for all the hate clips. Some stuff, especially in the interviews, where Don and Chris participate and the other one with Jeremy Renner shows that there is a lot of animosity going on. It seems that its real, and that she is a blowhard or something.

I don't care for that, though I watch these clips. If you can separate the artist from the person, It doesn't matter.
