In case the image doesn't appear to you, the movie is ANNIHILATION (2018).
It was only after someone explained to me that the movie was about cancer that I was like "Oh...I get it."

Still, the movie didn't really do it for me.

Recent watch: Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I don't think Mila Kunis has ever been more sexier than in this movie.

    Relic, 2020.

An Australian movie. I had to put on the subtitles, not sure why but i just can't understand a word said with an Australian accent. I am not a native English speaker of course though so that doesn't help lol.

Watchable movie. 6 out of 10.

I bet you 5 bucks it wasn't as good as The Relic (1997)

Doctor Sleep. Well done sequel to The Shining. Better than I thought it would be.

A pretty good Australian movie is These Final Hours. No spoilers to say it's about the impending end of the world and how one man chooses to spend his last day.

I recently watched In the Shadow of the Moon. A scifi story about a cop who becomes obsessed with solving a series of murders which take place every 9 years.

No wonder the cause of the shimmer is a mystery, makes more sense that way.

    Thank you

The '97 Relic is a fun silly monster movie.

Hey, a case of nostalgia soft spot. Read the actual novel in 7th grade and back then it all made sense.

I finally watched Close Encounters of the Third Kind for the first time.
I remember being spoiled of the ending of the movie way back when i heard about the movie so that´s why i never had gotten around to watch until recently.
But it´s a great Sci Fi movie for sure.

68 Kill. 2 star movie. A B-Movie tongue in cheek thriller. Ok in that regard. I probably wouldn't watch it a second time though. It stars Matt Gubler from "Criminal Minds" and he carries a lot of it on his charm and likability. The female characters are completely unrealistic and the movie kinda feel like a weird nerd fantasy ( i.e. the the main character is a complete geek yet he's able to get with several women sexually). It's hard to tell if AnnaLynne McCord is a "good" actress in this context, but I enjoyed watching her chewing scenery.

    The last full measure

I was disappointed that it wasn't a war movie. I wanted to see a good action war movie, with bombs and fighting and my surround system annoying my neighbors...but it was more of a drama or a investigation movie.
