I dont think it will. Sam's been trying to create his own identity since issue one. Even if Matt were to die, I think they both would rather Sam stay Blindspot and be his own person. He's not the Devil of Hells Kitchen, he's Blindspot of Chinatown.

Yep. All this, too. I don’t think Soule will go such an obvious and well worn route anyway.

BTW, I detest that “Devil Of Hell’s Kitchen” moniker the show introduced so much. Lame begets lame. He is The Man Without Fear!

Wouldn't stop him from becoming the book's new protagonist anyway. Ironheart's first series was still called Invincible Iron Man.

As I said earlier, something similar already happened when BP took over for Matt after Shadowland. I don’t think they’d want to revisit that well so soon or at all when that gimmick has been being used so often in so many comics to less than warm receptions. But it should be noted that unlike the example you have there and the many others that’s happened in, Sam is at least his own character.

Yeah but she never called herself Iron Man. Not like Jane called herself Thor... which was just weird.

Nah, he hasn’t earned the “man without fear” moniker yet. Maybe after season 3 that’ll change though.

I think Nanashi was speaking in generalities. That's really more his nickname than what they call him in the show. I like both.

No. Its clear they’re purposefully not using The Man Without Fear! for whatever the reasons are that drive all their other asinine and deleterious decisions.

This is why I'm confused when you say you're excited for season 3

Because that teaser trailer was awesome. And he’s back in black.

I don't get the idea that you're complaining that it's not like the comics, but praising that he's returning to the black costume.
