I woke up at 3:30 amd read it (apparently I missed the download problems?) because I figured since I couldn’t stop thinking about it I had to read it! Holy crap my nerves are shot and I’ll need a prayer to fall back to sleep. Can’t wait to read this again. Can’t wait to read the physical book. Hands down my favorite issue. So many emotions in this. Oh my gosh. Kelly is about to put us through the ringer!

When the book store opens I’m buying multiple copies, dammit!

I think I need to read it again when I'm more awake. I read it when I woke up this morning, and was "I guess that was okay," which seems the wrong response with all that happened in it and all the objectively good points I could see about it. I loved the individual Rogue and Gambit moments, thought their discussion of her powers was pitch perfect, but was tired of the large fight scenes (which, I know, it's a superhero comic; those are the bread and butter), felt there was just one too many space cameos in the arc (I normally love cameos, because I am a continuity fiend), and thought the explode-y cliffhanger at the end was ginned up.

But I've been having insomnia issues, and am dealing with other people's drama at work, and am very annoyed at what DC is doing with Nightwing, and am just unreasonably cranky right now, so I'll read it again over my lunch break and put up a more reasonable review thread this afternoon if no-one else gets to it first.

DearMachine, I will look forward to that review. I’m lacking sleep but I’m on an emotional high as well. We got 2 BEAUTIFUL DPS’s and while I agree with you on being over the fight scenes (I prefer more of the emotional stuff right now) they do have to keep it entertaining for those not so emotionaly-invested fans. Plus Oscar did a wonderful job.

The moments between husband and wife were so touching.

Get some rest now. I’ll try and probably fail to do the same.
