I love that we're smack back in the action. Happy with the expressions - Remy looks like he's freaking out on the inside, trying to keep his cool on the outside. And we get to see his skills with the lock pick again. Too bad Cerise was there so briefly. And now we know why they end up planet side. So the mystery egg is more likely a weapon then?

Yeah, this will be a fun issue and the art is looking good. Heck, I think the entire series is going to be amazing. I love seeing Gambit using a lock pick again and adore when Rogue is sarcastic/sassy. Really can't wait to see them reunited and of course, Gambit's reaction to DP. Come ON, WEDNESDAY!

Oooh and my R&G TPB and MMX #1 Ramos variant arrives today!!

I definitely want the Jen Bartel variant for issue #2 and it looks like it's going for about $21 on Midtown comics so that's a relief.

X-Men Red is up now too. Am I the only one who isn't crazy about Gambit's pink boots? Even for him, that's a little too much. Hopefully that is limited to his Red costume.

As much as I love purple color, his purple boots is too much.

That being said, I like how Remy is leading the next generation of X-men astray: "Gabby, ever wanted to learn how to break into a safe, petite?"

Yeah, I love me some Gabby, so I'm happy they are pals!

Well the pink . . . Ok we'll say magenta to be accurate . . . Boots were part of the original costume design for Red and I have no idea why they went that way. But then I really liked his all black costume and the black boxing boots from X-Treme because they make more sense for a thief. And no bandana! Although I do love his OG look too, even if it is damn ridiculous.

To me they look more like chrome purple, which is... weird, to say the least, but I feel like I could get used to it.
