I enjoy them, they are basically the DCEU ideas but done better I think.

No it isn't. Enjoy them. Nobody can tell you not to. But the personality that they give Hal Jordan is not the single individual on earth born without fear and with the greatest willpower of all the people on the planet. It is again a self-doubting, bumbling Hal Jordan. That is a mistake that they keep returning to, over and over. I am sick of reading the Hal Jordan... idiot at large version of my hero. It is out of character and destroys to core principles of the title that make it exciting.

Now if they swapped out Alan Scott, for for it. Green Lanterns are born heroes.

May I know more about how Gil Kane designed the uniform? I haven't seen any interviews or articles about that. I think this is extremely valuable information.

I wouldn't assume he's working on an actual story just because he mentions the story. It could still be an alt cover, like how we made a lot of assumptions based on Chen's sketch.

Thanks a lot. I googled "Gil Kane Green Lantern design" but didn't find much meaningful information.
I read the first interview once but didn't realize the gymnasts and ballet dancers he talked about could be related to the design of Green Lantern.

Do I really need to say it again? There's no comparison between Hal Jordan and Peter Parker. They would only be comparable if Hal was the only GL in publication from the late 50s until the 2010s. Hence, if someone started reading comics in the 90s, their GL would likely be Kyle, or if their first exposure to the character was the DCAU, their GL would be John. That's the nature of this franchise, it's not just one character that's been the sole representative of the mantle for 60 years, despite that Hal is the most enduring and prominent character associated with it. I don't get what's the problem here.

Hal Jordan was defined to be Green Lantern and Green Lantern was created to be Hal Jordan, no differently than Clark Kent and Superman. They are one of the same. The entire Green Lantern universe was created for Hal Jordan and vice-versa.

Yeah, that's possible. He does mention "this little Green Lantern story is going to make everyone smile", so I thought I'd give people a heads up, whatever this turns out to be.
