Default Dang it! Hate I missed that ...

I've been reading a lot of old comics online, following a few selected titles of the DCU from 1960 forward (currently in mid-1985). I've come across a few that I really wish I'd tried back in the day:
    • Blue Devil
    • Green Arrow in Detective Comics
    • Vigilante

There was interesting stuff happening in those comics that I wish I'd experienced when it was being written. It's not bad now, but there's a flavor to it that belongs to its moment in history.

Regardless of when you started reading comics, is there a series that, after reading it online, that you're sorry you missed in first run?

    I don't read digital comics
But back in 1975 I drifted away from comics as I entered High School
and did not get back into it until 1980 and I saw Uncanny X-Men 137 on the
    stands with other books.
I never knew about Uncanny X-Men or much anything in comics for those past
few years and had to buy old issues to catch up.
But yea........ I would have liked to have discovered Uncanny X-Men while I
was doing my High School tour

    Most recently would be Preacher.

I was hearing really good word of mouth and the guys in the store suggested it a couple times, but I never gave it whirl.

Before that, Neil Gaiman's Sandman was the other I chose not to jump on until after the fact.
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

For me, it would be the New Teen Titans (Wolfman/Perez). My father suggested that we should buy it, but I chose not to get it. Looking back, I should have listened to my father and given the series a chance.
