Yup. I imagine getting herself killed when she and Asha'rah are completely isolated might alter the outcome too.

Usually "to save the one you love. I need to let her die and then bring her back" would be something you'd want to prepare the one you offered to let kill you if the rescue plan fails know in advance if you continuing to live is part of the plan.

I don't think continuing to live is part of Chrona's plan, or she wouldn't have made that offer.

In the timelines where nothing bad happens, Asha'rah is unable to comprehend nor resist the usually strong urge to smack Chrona in the face every time she enters a room.
