I think Parsley will, eventually, grow to appreciate magic as she's around it more. I plan on having her train with Etrina so she can hone her anti-magic technique, so there's a good chance it may start sooner rather than later.
Her door is always open to new students....especially the ones with the correct qualifications to babysit Foci.

Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Fair warning. Having Parsley as a student means watching her master the craft she's learning, to the point that she's better at than you. It happened at the CTC and it will happen here

But are they loose enough to conceal tricks? We both know how Ishtar wears such tight clothing.

Parsley: I AM THE BETTER TIME WI-

Zurvan: Tiny Monkey Woman. Cease and desist or so help me, I will make you relive the moment your sister outplayed you for the rest of your short life. Or ... perhaps I will let you experience the nightly ... training she engages in with Ishtar.

Parsley: Anything but that last one.

But are they loose enough to conceal tricks? We both know how Ishtar wears such tight clothing.
    Tricks ?

    Tricks are for kids.

Well.....in addition to having to talk your way into the good graces of a time god to even have the chance of surpassing Etrina in that field.....she also has to beat her at familiar summoning.

..............I'm honestly curious what sort of familiar someone like Parsley would end up summoning....

If she didn't hate Totoma for existing, they would get along great over their mutual habit of "Take something and make it BETTER!"

    ...

Also, Cthulhu, did we ever hash out whether Totoma got around to teaching Ishtar his enhanced variation of Haurvatat?

I'm also currently in the midst of crafting a sidequest which may involve parts of the whole Five Schools lore - outside of and likely some time before Hell in a Cell with Sasheem - which he might be interested in joining...provided it gets past the dreaded notes stage lol
Deadly pitfalls, ghosts, demons...whatever lies in wait for those who pursue knowledge of The Five Schools....none can compare to the notes stage. But Sasheem will bare it so long as it leads him closer to mastering the YnOF.
