Those traps are designed to pull/crush, and are clocking in at about 40K PL. You trigger them like that you'll die to death.Or at the very least get slammed into a pillar hard enough to seriously injure himself and trigger Parsley's Ki Nullification/Suppression.

Gen's suggestion that they're in a different area of the Wastes makes the most sense.

Also for the sake of it, I can just fudge it so that Ishtar hasn't laid any gravity traps. Still working on that post(s), and it'll likely not be up until tomorrow, so it's easy enough to say that she waits for everyone to be gone before she starts
