Not too much an old dinosaur like me can contribute, since I grew up thinking the "Brontosaurus" was a legit dinosaur (even had packs of toy plastic brontosauruses mixed in with plastic wooly mammoths!), then it was later said it was really a type of Apatosaurus. (But now they may be separating the two again?)

I do remember as a really small kid going to the 1960s New York World's Fair and visiting the Sinclair Oil dinosaur exhibit; if you've never been aware of this, here's a link that shows the brochure they had: https://cardboardamerica.org/2017/03...-fair-1964-65/

Before Jurassic Park, dinosaurs got their fifteen minutes of fame on the old Transformers cartoon series from the 1980's as the Dinobots:

Tim Burton originally showed interest in directing Jurassic Park.

The first dinosaur fossil to ever receive a name was the megalosaurus.

The iconic dungeons and dragons monsters bulette, the owl bear, and rust monster actually started off as little plastic figures included in dollar store bags of dinosaurs.

Evidence found in Colorado sandstone suggests Dinosaurs performed elaborate mating rituals and basically danced to woo their mate.

Given it's muscular structure, a T-rex's arms could likely be able to move over 400 pounds with ease.

The last dinosaur was named Denver. He's my friend and a whole lot more.

In 2015, a new horned dinosaur was discovered. Scientists named it Hellboy.

In 2017 an new kind of Anlyosaur was discovered. They named it Zuul Crurivastator after Zuul from Ghostbusters.

The largest dinosaur ever discovered is still smaller than a blue whale. The liopluerodon is estimated to be about half the size (depending on your source).
