    Default Prevent cocked spine?

I have this problem where I read an omni or big HC and afterwards the spine is cocked (the front board sticks out and is no longer parallel with the back board)
I know I can fix this by "reading" it backwards but that's not really practical.

Does anyone else experience this issue? Does anyone have tips on how to prevent this?
I can't help but notice all the nice CE collections posted here where all the spines still look right.
And it's not like I'm reading it in an awkward position or so, just cradled in my lap or flat on the table.

The only way I have been able to avoid messing up spines is to not open the books all the way. It does hinder the enjoyment of the art work but I have nice looking spines when I put the books away.
