I mean DC wanted it to be Guardians of the Galaxy. they had a trailers crew recut and edit the entire film so it was more of Guardians of the Galaxy in tone. They didn't go with the directors vision.

With Bautista wanting to go to DC, the best thing Marvel can do is let him go. Drax isn't much of a loss. I don't know why DC would want to hire an "actor" who has been so publicly bad mouthing his employer though. He's a liability.

There’s been to much DC movie news that amounts to nothing for me to get invested in this. Until it becomes clear something is coming out of this, I’m indifferent to all of it.

Looks like my copy of lego dc super villains has a $10 off aquaman sticker for fandango that came with it. As our movies cost $6 for a matinee I have a free ticket to aquaman.

I would enjoy seeing a Gunn Suicide Squad sequel, but if I had a dime for every DC movie announcement lately...I'd have a lot of dimes.
They currently seem to be only greenlighting about 1 - 2 a year.

Is there a reason why mods haven't closed this thread or merged it with All New Course Corrected DC Films/Worlds of DC Thread (No Spoilers)? This was created shortly after the other thread, and both threads discuss the exact same things. Perhaps merging the threads and combining the titles would make more sense since people are confused on what the name of DC's cinematic universe is. (I think that's partly DC/WB's fault since they've never come out and said either of the terms DCEU or Worlds of DC were official.)
