Namor movie flashback during the war years??????
So Wandavision hit, and I have to say I was not disappointed at all. Beneath all the ridiculousness and sit-com inspired over-acting is this unsettling and uncomfortable psychological tension, and I felt that balance was really well handled by the cast and crew. Very much looking forward to seeing where this goes, I feel like it's only going to get better and weirder.
I used to feel like Wanda, along with a few others like Widow, Punisher, Moon Knight, etc., are characters that don't really translate fully to the PG13, family friendly world of the MCU. You can only dig into those characters so deeply before you hit some material that's pretty screwed up right? But Wandavision proved me wrong; I feel like I'm watching Wanda and seeing her particular flavor of crazy on full display, but the show itself isn't crossing the kind of lines I thought it would need to in order to explore her mindset. I'm pretty damned satisfied and impressed so far.
Does anyone know if there's been any word on these shows getting a blu-ray down the road? Stupid collector mentality demands that I add these shows to my MCU shelf, despite having Disney+ and buying a blu-ray would just be a waste of money.
