No thanks. I'm fine with either Hawkeye's costumes not being adapted to live action faithfully. Hip hole serve no purpose and Hawkeye's costume is an eye sore even in the comics and even when drawn by masters like Perez.

I think they could sneak it in a shot. Maybe. They like their easter eggs.

Normally I'd totally agree but MCU Clint's costume is so boring. I don't need a bunch of H's but at least some more distinguishable purple would be nice IMO

"Clint has to go undercover by wearing a cheap knock off of his comic book Hawkeye costume and he ditches it as soon as he can" is about the scenario I'll accept.

Or something like Cap's USO outfit which he mixed with a bomber jacket to come off as more practical.

    Well, fashion over function .

Compared to his other costumes Clint's classic costume at least has character.

Fashion and function! Something as absurd as hip holes have no function (that I know of)

Meh, actual fashion has more artistry to it.

Yes and the character it gives Clint is defined in the dictionary as 'garish'.

Well, function from a style perspective...

I mean, the artists who draw Kate make it look good, so I'd say there's definitely artistry to it .

Better to standout than to be boring .

How do you function from a style perspective?

Clint's classic costume was designed to be a circus attraction, so I guess 'garish' and eye-catching was probably exactly what he was going for.

At least he didn't have hip holes.

Social media about Eternals seems to be highlighting how “different” the film is from other MCU entries.

My tickets are bought and I’m excited to see if different means better or worse!

Yet the advertising of the movie tries to say Avengers as much as possible.

    So weird lol

Would Clint have the hips for them, though ?

    "Eternals Assemble."

"Who do you think will take over after Tony Stark and Captain Rogers?"

"Maybe I'll be the next leader of The Avengers."

    Probably another one I've missed.

The Marvel Universe is so vast with so many stories and characters. I'm glad people will see more than X-Men, Spider-Man, Batman, Avengers, etc. They're good, but Disney is trying to get into niche/indie type characters with their millions of Disney dollars.

I think Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange opened the door for less popular Marvel characters getting the green light.

Maybe the Eternals bashing will stop when more people see the movie (maybe not). Disney spent millions to make this work.
