I don't like the Namor look they've got going at all. Make him look like the comics, dammit!
I guess I was expecting something a little more subtle.
His design is so on the nose it reminds me of when Thor appeared on The Incredible Hulk Retuns, and he literally just looked like the most cliche depiction of a viking instead of an actual super hero. At least the MCU Asgardians updated their look over the millennia.
If the top of his head isn't flat enough to lay a plate on, then he's not Namor.
I love the Namor design. I think it's everything it needs to be, given what we know.
She does look like Mabel Cadena, the actress that was reported as Namora last year. If she was some random pure-blood atlantean I wouldn't mind, but as Namora... yeah, I'm not a fan. They should've put the energy they put into Namor into her as well. I'm assuming she won't be half-human like he is, maybe in an attempt to make him more unique in the film?
It makes me wonder how Namorita will look like in the MCU, assuming they'll ever use her.
I mean... they did make him look like the comics as much as possible. The green speedo, the elf years, the little wings on his feet... I'd say that's undeniably Namor.
The only real difference is the accessories, but I don't think it's that big of a deal and it doesn't distract from the overall look.
I’m not that familiar with Tenoch Huerta. Is he…jacked? I mean they could’ve given Namor the black outfit with wings and the actor’s build wouldn’t be quite as important. If he’s going to be shirtless, he going to need some muscle.
You don't have to worry about an actor not being jacked for a role in Marvel. Just look at how they buffed up and gave abs to Paul Rudd, Kumail Nanjin and Natalie Portman.
The concern is largely about his characterization and depiction of his world and people.

Marvel is coming to SDCC this year so in a few weeks we should have more confirmation and possibly even trailer for the movie, after Thor Love & Thunder, the only major movie left for this year is BP2. For tv shows we only have She Hulk, Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and the Werewolf by Night project.

I am going to go see it but....
This is exactly what I was afraid of. (and I love Thor III)The Hollywood Reporter wasn't quite as impressed as their spoiler-heavy review explains that "Waititi pushes the wisecracking to tiresome extremes, snuffing out any excitement, mythic grandeur or sense of danger that the God of Thunder’s latest round of rote challenges might hope to generate," adding that the "movie [is] too busy being jokey and juvenile to tell a gripping story."
This is gonna be GoG2 all over again. Waititi got too much freedom for the sequel.
