So, two episodes into Hawkeye so far....

Kate shoulda been dead about 15 times already lol.

but I guess some fencing tournaments and karate tournaments = ability to dodge gunfire, not panic when getting shot at, and take multiple hits from 250lbs thugs lol.

Could we at lesat say she was an MMA cage fighter or something....

Other than that, weirdly enjoyable so far

I found it the most enjoyable all together. I think it's the only Disney show that stuck the landing, at least for me. And it was one of the shows I was least interested in, too.

Glad you're enjoying Hawkeye, MindofShadow. It was one of my favorite D+ shows, though I fear you might be missing some of its charm, watching it in summer instead of around christmas.

There is that of course...but I think it would be something a little more. Not necessarily PTSD...but like Spidey's guilt over the death of Uncle Ben...Kate having some sort of psychological need to protect people.

I definitely got hints of that. She definitely did all that training to feel less powerless after her dad died and being a "hero" is the ultimate outlet for that. I'm excited to see the character again and for Marvel to announce a YA project already!
