I appreciate that Disney is trying to highlight the double standards about this kind of thing (women have their reputations and careers absolutely destroyed while dudes escape relatively unscathed), but I find it to be not particularly family-friendly.
It is Rated TV-14. Seems age appropriate to me.

Yeah, it seems like a weird move. I've only read Riri in team books and such and far as I know she doesn't have much of a rogues gallery worth talking about, but she must have dealt with *somebody* worth using in the show right? Or at the least you'd expect some of Tony's villains, there's a lot of them, untouched by the MCU, that Riri could adopt.

Who knows, maybe Marvel plans on Hood having a big role in the MCU (like a multi-phase mini boss or something?) and this was just where they decided to introduce him? I mean, it's as good a place as any other I guess? But of all the bad guys out there, there's tons that'd seem like a more natural match up. But hey, I'm glad we're at least getting an Iron Person story where the bad guy isn't just another dude in a rip off suit.

Shame to hear about the phase 6 movies getting pushed back. But sh*t happens, plans change. Haven't heard of anything going on with those other movies that'd be reason to delay them, so I guess something big happens in Blade and those other films gotta wait for that plot point to hit.

Honestly I think Tomoe/The Techno Golem would've made the most sense since she's fought Riri most of the times and, despite Miles Morales fans wanting her to be Miles' Black Cat, she's more connected to Iron Man.

I hope they don't get as stuck on The Hood as Bendis did.

I just checked what the rating means and it says that parents are strongly cautioned to monitor the program

The rating is fine. It's just that Disney/Marvel hasn't really discussed these things in their properties before. If I was a parent, I would definitely be hesitant to show some of the things that happened in She-Hulk's series. I mean, Marvel Studios hasn't even TOUCHED hookup culture with a thousand foot long pole since that first Iron Man movie. But they're definitely leaning into it now. Which is so weird because their previous MCU Disney Plus show, Ms. Marvel, was as family-friendly as you can get.

I'm actually hoping and expecting MORE MCU projects to be delayed. I think Disney has no choice. I think it's clear that the reactions to their content is getting less a bit less positive lately. By slowing the pace of their releases, it gives more fans to catch up on previous movies/shows (regardless of their quality). And I think giving Marvel creatives more time is always a good thing. It's not like they're taking a five-year hiatus or anything. Judging by fan reactions, I don't see THAT much disappointment so far to these announcements.

Yeah, but the Marvel stuff is not too graphic or gory. And death is just something to be shrugged off in the MCU.

    Odin is dead
    Quicksilver is dead
    Black Widow is dead
    Iron Man is dead
    Aunt May is dead.
T'Challa appears to be dead (going by the trailers)

These deaths have not been shrugged off.
Gamora and Loki are dead but have Alt-realities versions that are not the same as "our" versions.

What MCU movies and/or shows are you watching?

If the characters you mention ALL never come back in any future MCU projects (in the next five years) then yes, then Marvel Studios is treating death seriously. If Disney got other actors/actresses to play Gamora and Loki (like the Doctor Who and James Bond franchises have), than I would consider Saldana's and Hiddleston's versions "dead" as well. To me, it feels like a Megatron/Galvatron situation. They're basically the same guys (and gals).

Seems odd that you have a five year cut off date, especially since Odin has already been dead for five years and Quicksilver for seven.

Now looking at cinemascores for phase 4 some of movies are in B'S so you could say on average it's the least enjoyable phase on average compared to past phases and that could be varied reasons but more folks think phase 4 is the strongest phase so far and it more liked it looking at the rt scores and comparing them to phase 3 and other mcu phases.

    I updated this as well.
Folks who are saying phase 4 is not as good as past phases are a loud minority(on the internet for example) and what they say do not match up with what the scores are on rt for example. In real life most audience think phase 4 is the best phase(tv and movies)looking at the new recent RT SCORES for phase 4 most critics think phase 4 is the best phase so far too (combination tv shows and movies).
