That fourth-wall breaking on the She-Hulk finale was brilliant. Love me some self-aware humor.

I liked what they did with the episode and, all things considered, it was a good thing not to focus on too much... but man, Titania really deserved a moment to at least feel like a real nemesis to Jen. Can't believe they basically did nothing with her all season.

Matt and Jen were really funny in She-Hulk episode eight. I laughed quite a bit during that one. I have my concerns with the stuff about sex tapes, slut-shaming, doxing and revenge porn though. That's pretty grown-up material for the MCU in my opinion. I appreciate that Disney is trying to highlight the double standards about this kind of thing (women have their reputations and careers absolutely destroyed while dudes escape relatively unscathed), but I find it to be not particularly family-friendly.

While I don't agree with the sentiment about not including this material (Werewolf by Night just had some of the most gruesome MCU content I've ever seen and no one has been calling for that to be taken down), it was SURPRISINGLY dark. Like Josh legit committed a sex crime and the whole thing was just so sad to watch because it happens so often in real life, particularly with female celebrities.

LMAO, the finale of Shulkie was beyond ridiculous and I loved it.

Anyone who cares about continuity and what "matters" in stories are gonna be big mad because the Inteligencia and blood stealing plot get completely thrown out the window in the greatest way ever.

I can predict people are gonna be pissed because the ending basically makes the last 3-5 episodes meaningless and nonsensical.

But if this show isn't Byrne's and Slott's wet dream I don't know what is.

The finale was fantastic, She-Hulk has become one of my favorite MCU offerings at this point. I haven't read the Byrne series but it captured the tone of Slott's run really faithfully and was just a lot of fun.

The leak/scoop industrial complex was under construction in phase 2 and by the time phase 3 was concluding I was avoiding full leaked scripts left and right.

I feel like the pandemic really exacerbated the leak problem by the move to remote work (which may never fully move back, since COVID isn't going away). Harder to control who sees what.

Seems odd that you have a five year cut off date, especially since Odin has already been dead for five years and Quicksilver for seven.

I just chose an arbitrary date. 2028 is like the 20th anniversary of the founding of the MCU right? And the multiversal saga will be "peaking" around that year (because I think it's possible Secret Wars could be delayed a bit more). That would be the time Marvel/Disney might "revive" some of their "dead" characters. Although it would look pretty desperate to me if they did that. It would just make Secret Wars a much more expensive movie to make (with pricey cameos). And the payoff might not be so great.

It is sad to see female celebrities get judged by different standards than their male counterparts, but it is what it is. I didn't see Werewolf by Night, but I imagine the gruesome stuff was made more "palatable" because it was filmed in black-and-white. The whole sex crime stuff feels more at home in Law & Order: SVU than in the MCU in my opinion.

This just makes your argument even weaker than it is. And no matter how you state it, Odin and Quicksilver proves your made up date and theory wrong for the simple fact that both characters have been dead longer than five years.

You pull a date out of nowhere and state opinions based on nothing but what you think might happen. Even though you have no idea what's going to happen.

Examples, yeah SW could be delayed more. You or I have no idea if it will be. Another example, Marvel "might revive" some dead (no quotes) characters. How would you know that? Do you know the plot of the SW movie? The only thing we may know is Kang is a big part of the MCU going forward. That's all. And don't say we'll know what SW will be about because of the comics. Superhero movies have been coming out for decades, and none of them follow the comics exactly.

I get it. You don't like the MCU. That's fine. Like what you like. But you don't have to make up stuff to justify your distaste for the MCU. Because that's what you're doing when you make arbitrary dates and plots about things you have not seen, therefore, you can't have a meaningful opinion about said thing.

But whatever. I'll bow out of this now that I said my piece.
