But that is speculation from my part, as a latin person who could be defined as white in Latin America but would be defined as colored in the USA.
I expect the entire thing will be ignored. Would be quite surprised if it happened in any capacity. But you never know. Dude's a villain, he's not supposed to have good morals or ethics, so exploring racism through him opens up doors you can't go through with somebody like Sam Wilson. Still, I wouldn't think they'll go that route; too sticky a topic.

And yeah, some folks define racism as a white-only thing. Which....is not something I agree with. At all.

Mmm... But... that's part of the shtick with Lethal Legion! Black Talon has rezzed dead heroes or villains at least 5 times! He once rezzed 4 dead Mutants at the same time! Though in fairness he wasn't able to control them all at once and Changeling turned on him. and also there's Nekra who can do voodoo to rez people too. Having a supervillain team where half the team are zombies might be cool.

You could even do a scene where Captain America is like "wait a second... I thought these guys were dead!" and then quickly realize, they're UNdead. Maybe throw in a former hero who died for good measure.

EDIt2: even better, have Stephen Strange show up and go: "Yep, it's voodoo, .... but these dead are protected by a ward powered by Kali." So now the heroes have to kill them the hard way and can't just have Strange counterspell them.

This wasn't why she left Disney but I'm not surprised at this at all.

Hmmm. Lee Sung Jin is rewriting the Thunderbolts script and they are starting filming in June???

I'm think I'm good on the new writer for F4. I've enjoyed Snowpiercer.

    Nope. Not surprising at all.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

Hopefully the scripts are up to snuff. I don't think any of these people worked on Rick and Morty so that's one less thing for people to harp on .

Good news that changes are happening on a script level. Hopefully they shift the MCU away from the Spaceballs level parodies they have become.

I am optimistic Friedman will be an improvement. Coming fresh off the Avatar franchise he should be well versed in writing fun, complicated and interesting family dynamics.

This is the company that shrunk John Boyega and hid Chadwick Boseman's face on China's movie posters, and removed a pittance of a gay kiss from certain countries airing Rise of Skywalker. No hypocrisy there.

But this is also the woman who valued shallow representation over solid content, vacuously considered the title X-MEN antiquated because - gasp - there existed women in their ranks, and stupidly urged the company into politics with the Parental Rights in Education Act.

Scum remains within the House of Mouse but nothing of value's been lost here.

I don't know much control Friedman had over it, but the Foundation adaptation was terribly written, with barely anything of the books remaining, replaced by much worse stuff.

If this had anything at all to do with her firing, then bully for her! Seriously!

I hate when American companies like Disney literally kowtow to China and other dictatorships.

I get it that companies have fiduciary obligations to maximize profits including overseas, but I don’t like slicing and dicing even our junk culture for non-democratic tastes.

Victoria should not feel bad at all if this played a part in her firing. She should proudly hold her head up high.

We haven’t even gotten to the Mule, yet. It might get better.

Strangely, I found the best parts of that show were plots not present in the books — like all the things involving the emperor.

I think Victoria was essentially a scapegoat. Sure, she deserved it, but, that doesn't mean this counts as justice. how many others deserve to have been fired along with her?

You may be thinking of Jeremy, "TheQuartering". Otherwise, if there's some interesting news about Brie, why wouldn't her mug be on media thumbnails throughout YouTube?

I’ve read a lot of people’s opinions who think the texts make him and this look more like a textbook abuse case. They do kind of read that way. I don’t think they’re really exculpatory as Majors’ attorney is presenting them. They certainly show the girlfriend does not appear to be willing to cooperate with the prosecution, which could make any case hard to make against Majors, not impossible, but difficult. I’m interested to see whatever this supposed video evidence is and what the supposed witnesses have to say.

I really have no idea if the guy is guilty or not.
