I’m ready for Kang to be brought in.

    They’ve established time travel.

Kang is like a worse version of Tony, a true “futurist” who thinks what’s best for Earth, is to put not just a figurative suit of armor around the world to protect it, but Kang could put a literal suit of armor around the world.

MCU Kang should have access to all the 21 century technology that out heroes have developed: arc reactor suits, Pym particles, vibranium devices, time travel technology, etc.

Where as Thanos was an outer threat to Earth, Kang is an Earthborn threat to all the outer galaxy.

Kang comes to challenge the Avengers because they’re the first ones to build a time machine in 2023. Thus establishing that there is fallout and consequences for the Avengers doing “whatever it takes” by building the time machine.

Whereas Thanos was a “daddy” trying to evoke what he believed was right to the “children of the universe”, have Kang act like a young adult who looks at the 21st century and Avengers as antiquated and obsolete.

It will not hurt my feelings at all if Deadpool is kept to itself, and allowed to do and be it's own thing. I have no desire to see him team up with Avengers, and get toned down so he fits the PG13 rating. He *can* work in PG13. He works better in R.

Would definitely be down with Secret Warriors. We need more super spy action in the MCU. I wonder if they'd keep Bennet as Quake or recast? Recasting for IP's that are just joining the MCU like the X-Men makes sense, but AoS' status is something different, so keeping the same actor might be of minor benefit to the studio.....I dunno.

And I still consider Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter part of the MCU. They have a lot of connective tissue there and I really don't want to argue again with the people who feel differently but those people seem to jump through a lot of hoops just to explain why the tv shows didn't have Iron Man show up. The Netflix shows I think *were* part of continuity, but when Marvel gets around to bringing the characters back they'll almost certainly want a fresh start.

Bennett played Quake for years, even in cartoons, I don't think people would respond well to a recasting.

Heck. They even went ahead and retcon that the comics version was half Chinese too. Because of Chloë.

Can you stop with this? It's really not about iRoN mAn NoT sHoWiNG uP or whatever. It's about the fact that there are like a whole lot of things in AOS that should have affected the movies too but the movies never acknowledged it, and all of the connections were only one-sided. Even Chloe spoke about it once, how Marvel Studios ignored AOS' existence.

Kang would be welcome but your version of Kang sounds a lot like Age of Ultron Ultron

I'm ready for Kang but I'm even more ready for Maestro and the Time Variance Authority.

As for the tv shows, I can buy the Defenders shows happening while AoS went off into la la la land. Around Endgame I gave up and considered Coulson as having died on the Helicarrier and AoS being a splintered timeline. Probably the best approach would be a soft boot them. Keep most of the actors but disregard all the rest. Or just outright say that the shows happened in an alternate timeline and we are just now meeting the *prime* timeline's versions of those characters.
