that art is great. Love it
This looks to be really, really good.
Thanks for the scans, Tycon.
As for the comment about the wine and Jean's hair, it made me chuckle. Sounds like something Emma would say if she were present.
And yes, I am so over Warren struggling with his dark side. Let's get some new material, please.
I died laughing when Jean said Bobby was fine and he thanked her . In fact he is the only one who has been more or less unharmed all these years.
It's a memorable meeting and it's good to see them together again or almost all of them . But it's also a little sad they gave everything they had for Xavier's dream or friends and received almost nothing in return.
I wonder what X goal this time?

it invoked memories of twenty years after with the three musketeers reuniting after a prolonged period. the summary of Jean dying at the hands of the x mens greatest enemy was news to me as I never considered "xorn" as such.
It's sad to see how everything has changed for this characters since they were kids. Sadly most of these changes have only made their lives miserable.

If the b0re5 haven't been destroying the X-Books for over half a decade then I might have found this issue charming.

I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

"Well, isn't this a fun conversation...."
Is that Emma or is it the young Professor X?
If it's Emma, they'd probably announce the surprise guest in the solicit.
Iceman's onesie has to be one of the worst costumes I've ever seen.
People complaining about Archangel, this takes before X healed him.

So in the middle of the battle with Proteus and Shadow King? I can't believe that this doesn't take place after Astonishing's first run is over, as I thought X erased everyone's minds of him sans Psylocke. If so Warren likely doesn't remember/know he has been fixed by X.
I really liked the preview, specifically, Jean's feelings on everything that's happened. All the years, all the pain and she has nothing to show for it accept a husband that didn't love her, a Mother that died hating her and a world that left her behind. I'd be drinking too.
I surprised myself by becoming a Jean fan so I'm glad she is in the X-Books but I do wonder what Jean's life would be like if it was an X-Man free zone.
