Uncanny X-men Disassembled coming in November

Happy for some students or new X-mens to be part of the story as Surge and Hellion hope they do something more than brief appearances.

Uncanny is back hope marvel, writers and editors are able to meet the expectations of fans.

I know that not everyone will agree with me but I'm happy Cyclops and Wolverine are not in this story.

For now. They may not be there as it begins but may by the end. I firmly believe Logan will be

Dazzler, as usual, looks like the only one who's happy & havin' a good time.

And as much as I miss the likes of Moonstar, Rictor, Monet, CeCe Reyes, Blink, Karma, etc., glad to see relative newbies Dust, Hellion, & Surge, all made it in. Sunfire, Northstar, Cannonball, Sunspot, & Firestar too, of course, as it seems like they've all been absent from X-happenings for a while.

Of note also, Banshee's healed, and no Sage.

I don't think the characters covered means anything. It seems more likely that Marquez was allowed to draw whoever he wanted. Colossus and Cypher's designs are already out of date since one has a beard now and the other doesn't anymore.

Seems likely. And don't forget, we still got the Yu cover comin' yat, that we've seen bits & pieces of. Also unnecessarily confirms Asrar's teaser image with Bishop & Jubes, is definitely part of this.

So is Kelly Thompson the first woman to write a 'major' x-title? I guess X-Factor and New Mutants were pretty important back when Louise Simonson was writing them, and there was also G. Willow Wilson on the all female X-team, but none of them as 'big' as Uncanny.

Most hype is probably for the British Psylocke, what if anything is done with Polaris, the fact various "Kid Mutants" are present (spanning the generations of NM, GX, NXM).

Pros:

-Motherfucking X-Women front and center the way they should be.

-Jean front and center

-Bishop, a black male, possibly getting some love. Hoping for a positive depiction of him for once

-A few of the young mutants I like are pictured.

-Pere Perez. Was godlike with the pencils on R&G. Nuff said.

-Kelly Thompson writing. I'm a fan after R&G.

-A woman writing.

-No sign of a couple of characters I find incredibly annoying/corny



Cons:

-No Claw-Man

-No QQ

-No Magneto

-KT is not a fan of Jean

-Actually, not sure either of the writers is big on Jean. Hope Brisson's a fan.

-There's a chance several young characters are going to get lazy-shock-valued to death.

-Reused title is not a sign of creativity
