Alpha Flight's in a weird spot overall, tbh. Captain Marvel stole their name and half the team, then replaced them with the Mickey Mouse Club. Meanwhile, Ed Brisson and Jim Zub are arm-wrestling on Twitter over which of them loves Alpha Flight enough to do a relaunch, while Al Ewing (bless his heart) has already stolen Puck and Sasquatch for Gamma Flight over in Immortal Hulk. But nothing there precludes the team getting back together for a tale or two.

Captain Marvel is gonna get relaunched with her back on earth. So that's one thing not stopping the "real" Alpha Flight from coming back anymore.

Zub already used a more classic version of Alpha Flight in Champions - though Carol was still their leader. As a Canadian, if he relaunched the Alpha Flight book he'd be good.
