The lack of Cyclops is still surprising, but i guest that his return is still on the air, i'm not surprised that i seen Logan here considering that he isn't fully coming back until january.
Also i love the creative team and i hope that it would be as good as it sound.
Edit: No offense to his fans, but i'm glad that Taylor isn't on this, his writting doesn't do it for me.

Is this where we find out the mutants didn't originate the way we've always been told?
I'm really hopeful this is a model that Marvel continues to pursue. It's captivating in a way that the production of comic books, until now, just has never been.
It makes interacting with these stories more like following a tv series, than having to take it on as a long-term hobby. Can you imagine if a tv show produced one episode a month?
In all honesty, I wouldn't be abject to going full tilt into this TV comparison/model. Gives us on season X-Men, so ten weeks of Uncanny, then have sister books, solos, spin-offs etc fill up the off season.
Ten parts and the official Marvel description.
Last month at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Comics announced that UNCANNY X-MEN would return this fall. Today, the creative team was officially announced as well as an official release date for UNCANNY X-MEN #1 -- Wednesday, November 14. The new ongoing series is jam-packed with X-talent -- all the writers and artists have previously worked on X-Men characters and stories and will be teaming up for more mutant mayhem!
UNCANNY X-MEN will launch with a 10-part weekly epic called "Disassembled." Where the series goes from there depends on who is left standing! In this "epic tale of mystery and tragic disappearance," every remaining mutant on the planet will come together in "an adventure so Earth-shattering, it could very well be the X-Men’s FINAL mission!" With stakes this high, it will take an extraordinary team to tell this story.
Writers Ed Brisson (EXTERMINATION), Kelly Thompson (MR. AND MRS. X), and Matthew Rosenberg (PHOENIX RESURRECTION, ASTONISHING X-MEN) will join the equally X-perienced artistic team of Mahmud Asrar (X-MEN RED), R.B. Silva (X-MEN BLUE), Yildiray Cinar (WEAPON X), and Pere Perez (ROGUE AND GAMBIT). Leinil Frances Yu will provide artwork for the covers.

Can't believe im finally getting excited about the X-Men again, first X-Men Red, then Astonishing and now Uncanny
Glad to see Madrox, Sunspot and Hellion are in the mix, hoper there are plans for all of them. And yay no sight Original 5 X-teens.
Ugh, no Dani Moonstar. She should be powered up and an X-man, damn it!
They do need to update some of the uniforms. The one that stands out the most is Rachel Grey Summers atrocious Prestige costume.
