What period are we taking Gon from? Current Gon has no powers. Taking him from the Chimera Ant arc, where is powers were at their peak, Gon is quite a bit faster and likely a fair bit stronger.

However, Ah Gou has a ton of weird powers. Also, Divine Power Monochrome is pretty hard to counter without some seriously good gimmicks.

If Ah Gou immediately throws up White Wall levels of monochrome, I think he'll be okay to win this. If he tries to make this into a slugfest, then he'll maybe lose.

His Nothing Clone will be a big boon to him.

On further thinking, Ah Gou's True Dark Prison held back the entire armoured city attempting to push past him and stomp on him.

Gon is not breaking through that in a million years.

Figured, my feeling is that, even at his strongest, Gon couldn't breach True Dark Prison so Ah Gou just blocks him, turns his powers off and sends his Nothing Clone to do the punching.

Would Gon have any sort of Speed advantage. Last time a did a rumble between these series it ended in a speedblitz

Gon is certainly faster but there's a couple of things to consider.

1) Ah Gou is no slouch with his mastery of vanishing arts. I think he's fast enough to play keep away effectively for at least a little bit.

2) Divine Power Monochrome is thought activated and will restrict Gon's physical stats hugely.

3) Ah Gou can just send out his Nothing Clone which specifically has considerably higher physical stats than his own so Gon has to get through a guy who is specifically tougher than Ah Gou to even get to him.

4) Ah Gou is durable enough that I don't think Gon can one shot him outside of his bigger techniques that require charge time so a blitz isn't going to stop him from throwing up his considerably nasty defences.
