Introducing a real-life heroine and Wonder Woman. Maddie has been a fighter since birth. Here is a little bit of her Wonder Woman story. Back in May last year, when she was only 7 months old she became very sick very fast and went septic from a UTI. They almost lost her but the amazing staff at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago saved her life. She has quite the story to tell ��. And today she is celebrating her second bday. You, your family and the staff at Lurie Hospital are all real-life heroes.

Throw back just because today Wonder Woman is turning 2! It was such an honor to be part of celebrating this incredibly strong �� fighter. She is doing amazing! Happy bday Maddie! You are an example to all of us.

Throwback Thursday. An old drawing I did of Superman and Wonderwoman - penciled, inked, then scanned and blown up poster size, then painted with water colors and laminated as a “Just Married” wedding sign. I keep wanting to find time to participate in the daily Inktober drawing event, but for now, I’ll cheat with this old piece.
