DoV Spectre vs. Galactus & Heralds

Post Crisis "Day of Vengeance" Spectre vs. 616 Galactus and all of his Heralds.

Fight takes place amongst the moons of Jupiter.

It's just Spectre vs Galactus. The heralds are irrelevant.

It's going to be tough but Spectre should take it because DOV Spectre was one of the more competent and powerful versions.

Does Galactus have the ability to transmute high esoteric beings or mystic entities? if so then maybe he could theoretically absorb all the spectres power like black Alice did and reduce him to a powerless wraith.

After the incident with Black Alice, Spectre said that it was a nice try but he immunized himself against further attempts like that.

Spectre is not immune from the attacks of cosmics. Fighting with the Anti-monitor knocked him out as did with Parallax for awhile. Can Galactus do that? The DC cosmics were universe shakers. Spectre was told by the Source that he could have taken the Anti-Monitor if he wasn't screwing around.

I say Spectre takes this with a bit of a fight. The Heralds are vaporized.

well it's possible that the spectres power is immune now to that trick but maybe as Galactus is a high level cosmic he could eat him and absorb him anyway. on the other hand the spectre may prove indigestible to him like the cosmic elders.
