Ahab and his hounds kill Bloodstorm and Scott recognizes the marks and confronts Rachel. She realizes that Ahab is back and its why her markings returned (huh?) Teen Jean uses Cerebro to search for Bobby while Rachel blames herself for whats happened. Jean senses Cable and another figure. At that moment Cable is killed and the psychic backlash hits Jean They track him and Rachel (in her Prestige look) cries as she embraces her dead brother. She doesnt sense Ahab and at that moment Adult Jean shows up and sees her son on the floor with Rachel. Rachel is adamant that Ahab isnt the killer The final page reveals the hooded figure and its none other than Cable, well at least a younger version of him

In regards to the houndmarks: spoilers:

I think Ed Brisson is trying to revert some of what has been done to her over the years and going along with what happened in Gold to say that she they appear when she's reverting to a hound or if Ahab is near. It makes sense, but also with 3 red-headed psychics named Grey they need to make her stand out more.

Otherwise this is amazing thus far. My only gripe is that spoilers:

Rachel and adult Jean should have been able to feel Nathan's death and get the backlash as they are psi-linked to him. But their reaction was great and I'm excited to see how they deal with Ahab.

The pain and anger just SEETHES from Jean in that scene. And Rachel's grief is going to push her. I hope this event isn't the last of their awesome pairing!
