Meh. Salties will also eat sharks just fine too.

But I agree with the overall result.

Nothing thatís going to stop a real world megalodon, let alone a movie Meg.

Estimates of real world Megalodon bite force (in lbf, just because itís easier than converting for the majority) range from 24,000 to 41,000 lbf. As a frame of reference, a Great White is somewhere around 4,000.

Thereís not much a real world Megalodon couldnít bite through, and even less so a souped-up movie Meg.

The Meg is more powerful, but the Mosasaur is powerful enough that it comes down to who gets the first bite a lot - but not all of the time.

Megs preyed on large whales that had to come up to the surface for air and often struck from below. That strategy is perfect for taking on a Mosasaur, which also had to breathe air. The Mosasaur also generally preyed on creatures much smaller than itself, making it relatively ill-equipped to take on a super=predator of near-equal size.

The Mosasaur, if it got the first bite, would often be able to kill the Meg, but the Meg would always kill the Mosasaur if it got the first bite.

With all that considered, the Meg wins at least 7 out of 10.

If the Mosasaur could out-speed or out-maneuver the Meg it might fair a little better, but even at its size the Meg's body-type is much more suited for speed than that of the Mosasaur, as shown by modern sharks like the Mako and Great White.

if we are talking movie Meg and not actual meg the megs are always killed by the end whereas mosasaur is the undefeated champion that is its yet to die on-screen killed by humans in combat AFAIK.

Yeah but the Mosasaur apparently lacks (possibly deficient in) durability feats.

The smaller meg? Or the larger one? I think Mosey can take the smaller one, but not the larger. How's that for fairness?
