The L.A.W. explores a world in which Superman was taken from the Kents as a baby and later handed over to Lex Luthor, who used the young Superman as the linchpin of his superhuman assault squad, The L.A.W.. The L.A.W. helped Luthor consolidate his political and economic empire, making him the most powerful man in the world. And Luthor makes the world an ugly place. He becomes an economic tyrant, taking away as much of the human rights as he can, making slavery almost legal. Savage and dirty capitalism rules a world where very few profit and most are considered replaceable parts in the money making machine. The only man capable of challenging Luthor’s empire is Bruce Wayne, who fights a losing battle against the corrupt establishment and it’s most powerful weapons, The L.A.W.. It’s in this dark world that Kristin Wells, an amnesiac historian time-traveling from over a thousand years in the future, arrives. Kristin is unsure of how things should really be, her memories are spotted at best. But eventually she decides to join Wayne in his crusade to free the world from Luthor’s disguised tyranny.

    The Justice League:

    • The Batman: Bruce Wayne will only become the Batman in time to lead his band of super-human rebels in the final battle against the L.A.W.. Nonetheless, Wayne has dedicated his whole life to becoming the pinnacle of human perfection that he is in our world. For years he has been trying to gather a group capable of bringing Luthor to Justice, but The L.A.W. always got to other super-human operatives before him, one way or another. Discouraged by the long trail of bodies left in the wake of his plans, it is only with the help of Kristin that Wayne finds it within himself to go forward with his revolution. Wayne gathers a small band of operatives which he names the Justice League.
    • Catwoman: Selina Kyle is a former burglar who now acts as Wayne’s bodyguard. Selina is martial arts expert and unbeatable with a bullwhip in her hands. She is deeply in love with Wayne but his crusade doesn’t leave much time for romance. Nonetheless, Selina would do anything for Wayne, including give her life for the cause.
    • Katana: Tatsu Yamashiro is Wayne’s other bodyguard. Tatsu’s weapon of choice is an ancient mystic Japanese Katana, which used to belong to her deceased husband. In Katana’s hand, and powered by her will, the sword can cut through almost anything and is virtually indestructible, aside from being able to suck the soul of the people it kills. Katana owes Wayne a debt of honor for his protecting and hiding her when The L.A.W. killed her husband.
    • Robotman: Cliff Steele was the sole survivor of the Doom Patrol, which was massacred by The L.A.W.. His body was almost completely destroyed, but Wayne’s operatives saved what was left of him and ever since Wayne has been trying to rebuild his body. With the help of Shade’s advanced technological know-how, Cliff receives a new body, more powerful than anything he ever had, and he joins Wayne to get the revenge he craves.
    • Shade, The Changing Man – This will be Steve Dikto’s Shade not Peter Milligan’s Vertigo Version. The real Shade, a cop from the Meta dimension.
Rac Shade is a cop for the other dimensional reality known as Meta, who was assigned to monitor the Earth dimension for future contact. When his superiors deem that the Earth dimension is becoming too dangerous for contact, they decide to pull the operation from Earth, but Shade, who had become attached to our dimension decides to stay behind. Shade contacts Wayne and offers to help him with his knowledge of advanced technology and his powerful M-Vest. Shade is cocky and arrogant, certain of his Metan superiority over the simple Earthers. Aside from disrupting and feeding of others emotions, his M-Vest grants Shade a certain degree of flight, alters other perceptions of him, provides him with an almost impenetrable force-field and it’s gravity challenging proprieties enhance his strength.
    • Manhunter – Mark Shaw was recruited and trained by the Cult of the Manhunters, eternal enemies of the Green Lanterns and their masters, The Guardians of the Universe. Shaw joins Wayne, just to take down the Green Lantern member of The L.A.W.. When Shaw dies in one of the first confrontations with The L.A.W., Dick Grayson, Wayne’s ward, takes over the Manhunter identity. Dick is probably the world’s greatest trapeze acrobat and an Olympic class athlete, master of several martial arts. The Manhunter power baton he inherits from Shaw is capable of generating and controlling powerful magnetic fields - which he uses for many different purposes, including flight and force shields - as well as firing potent energy blasts.
    • The Atom – Ray Palmer was one of the founding members of The L.A.W.. When Ray began to disagree with Luthor’s methods and policies, he was imprisoned in a micro-cell by some of the new members of The L.A.W.. Wayne sets Ray free and he joins him in bringing down Luthor. The Atom is capable of shrinking himself to microscopic sizes.
    • The Demon - The L.A.W. thought they had destroyed the Demon, when they killed Jason Blood, but using Blood’s remains and a mystic talisman, Wayne and his aides manage to bring back the Demon. Part of the spell binds Etrigan to the will of the conjuror, if it’s stronger than the Demon’s. Bound to Wayne’s indomitable will, Etrigan has no choice but to help him in his crusade. Etrigan is one of the most powerful members of Wayne’s little band. He is virtually indestructible, unbelievably strong, able to breathe hell-fire and to cast a variety of spells.
    • Superwoman - Kristin Wells brought with her a collection of super-advanced devices from the future. With Palmer and Shade’s help she learns how to use many of these devices as weapons in the guise of Superwoman, Wayne’s secret weapon. Using a device that phases her out of synch with our reality, she is able to become immaterial and almost impossible to harm; a gravity regulator allows her to fly and generate a negative gravity field that gives her super-strength; and a mini-warp generator gives her the ability to teleport herself and others by using small warp-gates.

Wayne also has at his service a top-notch team of hackers called the Birds of Prey. The BOP are Nightwing (Barbara Gordon) and Robin (Tim Drake)

The L.A.W. (Officially - Liberty Alliance of the World / Extra-officially - Luthor’s Army of Warriors)

    • Superman – The story of this world begins to diverge from ours when Martha and Jonathan Kent are killed by thieves right after finding the baby Kal-El. Decided to profit on the baby’s origins, the couple of thieves later sell the kid, already named Clark Kent, to the young and on the rise CEO of Lexcorp, Lex Luthor. After being treated like a guinea pig and a surrogate son by Lex, Clark becomes the linchpin of his L.A.W. project. Superman - alongside the Atom, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Barry Allen, the Flash – becomes a founding member of the L.A.W. and although he follows Luthor blindly, Lex disapproves of Clark’s infatuation with Lois Lane, a reporter from the Daily Planet who has become quite a thorn on his side. Superman is one of the L.A.W.’s biggest guns with his super strength, speed, senses, invulnerability and flight.
    • Wonder Woman – When she came to man’s world, Diana was a diplomat working for peace, but after being seduced by Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman let her warrior side take over completely. Today WW is Luthor’s lover and one of the L.A.W.’s most ruthless and powerful members.
    • Fate – One of the L.A.W.’s first missions was to bring to Luthor the helmet of Kent Nelson, a.k.a. Dr Fate. After killing Nelson and his wife, Luthor kept the helmet for himself. Although he has marginally managed to harness the power of the helmet (the entity residing in the helmet fights him all the way), Luthor uses the mystic spells to which the helmet gives him access, and a slew of advanced technological personal weapons provided by his scientists, to keep the more rebellious members of The L.A.W. in check as Fate. Fate, though part of The L.A.W., rarely takes part in any of the missions.
    • Green Lantern – Hal Jordan sure doesn’t condone Luthor’s methods and policies, but his job as a Green Lantern demands that he gives full support to the local authorities, and The L.A.W. represents the authorities, and if anything, Hal is a GL. To his eternal shame, Hal is one of the founding members of The L.A.W.
    • The Flash – Wally West took his mentor’s (founding member Barry Allen) place in The L.A.W. after his mysterious death. The truth is that Luthor felt that he could no longer depend on Barry, who was becoming suspicious of Ray Palmer’s disappearance and starting to question Luthor’s motives, and that Wally, because of his taste for fast women and fast money, would be easier to manipulate and control. So Luthor pushed Wally into eliminating Barry and taking his place in The L.A.W..
    • Hawkwoman – Shiera Thal and her husband, Katar Hol, were former police officers in the fascist planet Thangar, who came to Earth seeking political asylum. Upon their arrival, Luthor enlisted them in The L.A.W. as Hawkman and Hawkwoman. Katar was killed during the apprehension and elimination of a Martian meta-human, one of the Thangarians first missions for The L.A.W.. Luthor thinks that because Shiera used to serve a fascist state, she is one of the most dependable members of The L.A.W., but he forgets that she came to Earth trying to escape from such a society. Hawkwoman is secretly Wayne’s mole agent infiltrated in The L.A.W., and only Wayne himself and Grayson are aware of this fact.
    • Firestorm and the Ray – Ronnie Raymond and Raymond Terril, The L.A.W.’s young hotshots. Powerful, young and ruthless “heroes” who serve Luthor unquestioningly. Firestorm has gone as far as lobotomizing the persona of Martin Stein as to have total control of the composite entity.
    • The Question and the Huntress – Vic Sage was a crusading reporter who trained under some of the greatest martial artists in the world, eventually becoming the Question, a vigilante hero. He actually tried to make a difference, until the day he “crossed swords” with Lex Luthor, and lost. His life completely in the hands of Luthor, Sage decided that if you can’t beat them, it’s best to join them. So the Question became one of Luthor’s top aides, eventually even joining The L.A.W.. Sage even took in the survivor of a mob family massacre, Helena Bertinelli, under his wing and trained her to become his partner as The Huntress.

Luthor also has a meta-human assassination team, which serves as try-outs for The L.A.W. The current members of the team who make an attempt on Wayne’s life are: Green Arrow, Black Canary, Plastic Man and Lady Shiva.

Feel like more inclined to a Black Label book, but I like to see an experimental story without dialogue. The story will be about Zatanna cursed as a puppet (playing with her pupaphobia) and now must escape her nightmare. Its more or less similiar to Little Nightmare in which the game use wordless storytelling.

    Gotham…in space.
The whole city of Gotham is lifted by Brainiac for his own diabolical ends.
