I appreciate that, even if it's highlighting all the worst aspects of Xavier's character and none of the best, this is at least a more recognisable version than Soule wrote.

Actually, I wonder - and this is pure mindless speculation, not something I expect to come to pass - this isn't a piece of the Xavier that Bishop shot and Exodus shattered across the astral plane, leaving an amnesiac Xavier behind. We saw Xavier in the afterlife when Nightcrawler was resurrected, after all. And this hardly seems like a "complete" Xavier...

Strangely enougth X was the most entertaining part of this issue, beyond the first few scenes. I mean X is an ******* but a part of me wants to know more about him.
