No. Already there are spreading words like “DC became ****, Green Lantern became the worst, and they’re trying to hire THAT guy? The guy that Marvel dumped? WOW.”
Green Lantern is not GotG. GL is about war and combination of science and magic, it’s like space LotR, or space Harry Potter. We don’t need to hire a man with problems just because he made some decent funny star trek rip-offs

Suicide Squad sucked. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 sucked. He got fired for pedo jokes. Seems like a proper placement to me.
