Default Best books featuring Big Barda?

So, I do not really read much DC, but I am trying to widen my comic horizons and one character who I love the look of is Big Barda. Honestly, big strong warrior women are always my favourite type of character. Was curious however where I should start with her. What are the best books she appears prominently in? Thanks!

Picking out the worst one is much easier. If she is in a porno film with Superman, be afraid.

    Be very afraid.

This is one of my favorites. Barda and Scott hold a backyard BBQ at their house and invite their JLI friends ......... it does not go well lol.

The current Mister Miracle run and the early '90s Mr Miracle (I think that was Giffen and/or Demitties but I could be wrong). Both great, both very different.

I would definitely check out the current Mister Miracle series by Tom King. One of the best books I’ve read in years.

But you can’t go wrong with Jack Kirby’s original Mister Miracle series. Though the dialogue will probably come off as dated to anyone who isn’t familiar with the Silver Age style.

Kirby based Barda on his wife Roz. He described her as the strongest woman he met and she was known to be fiercely protective of Jack. It’s said that the relationship between Scott and Barda was inspired by the Kirby’s marriage. Jack was not a boisterous personality and usually let his art do the talking. His wife Roz on the other hand wouldn’t let anyone mess with Jack.

Barda was a very revolutionary character when she was created. In a world of damsels in distress Barda was a badass warrior who didn’t take crap from anyone. And god help you if you messed with people she loved.

You can't go wrong with Kirby, Giffen & King. If you see their name on it and it features Barda, it's worth reading. There was also a Mister Miracle special with Steve Rude art that I remember being pretty fun.

Everyone's pretty much covered the comics part. Don't miss her few animated appearances so far either. They have been good:

Justice League Unlimited Season 2 Episode 2 "The Ties that Bind" (also known as "Miracles Happen")
Batman Beyond Season 3 Episodes 7-8 "The Call"
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (the animated movie with Supergirl)
Justice League Action Episode 43 "It'll Take a Miracle!"
