I've, never in my life, seen a series deflate so BAD after an announcement for the ""followup"" series. Like......does anyone honestly care what's done with anyone in this book?

Everything about this book was building up to the wedding and once that didnt happen (or at least not as expected), its been downhill. There was no payoff and it seems like these last few issues are about tying up loose ends, but none that anyone really cares about

(I know it is loosely based on a forgotten plot point from Jason Aaron but if you pick up a forgotten plot point, you gotta resolve it)

I agree. This book started out great with the new Brotherhood of evil Mutants, promises of Kitty-Colossus wedding, Iceman-Pyro relationship but went downhill after that.

The miniseries Hunt for Wolverine: Madripoor is much more exciting and eventful than this main X-book ironically.
