I would like to see a sequel to the 1953 War of the Worlds flic. The Martians develop some antibiotics and here they are again. The Tom Cruise picture stunk.

I liked the Cruise/Speilberg joint. My mom thought it was exceptionally creepy herself. Anywho, thirty years ago there was a short-lived(two seasons 88'-90') syndicated television series which had the aliens from the classic George Pal flick returning. Apparently the invaders were in a state of stasis due to infection, and thought to be dead. The "carcasses" were stored in drums with nuclear and toxic waste. And their tech and gear stashed at various undisclosed government installations. But due to an attack by a domestic terrorist group at one of the nuclear waste facilities. The radioactive materials sterilized the bacteria that took out the aliens, and the invaders went back to their mission of conquering the Earth.

28 Months Later. It was on, then off, then on and now it's in limbo again. This sequel should have been made a long time ago.

    I don't think that'll ever happen.
