Does anyone have any experience with the Locke and Key TPBs, I'm considering picking up the Slipcase when it comes out in November.

I'll echo this question. I've seen no mention of it in any release schedules and I'm wondering if it's a sure thing as of now. Any ideas?

I was wondering this myself. No solicitations, no cover... It's not looking good. Let's see if this month's solicitations will shed some light.

This appeared on Amazon.com. So could we hope for some HC/OHC reprints of the actual stories?...

Btw, if somebody looking for this, I'm trying to sell TMNT Ultimate collection Red Label (volumes 2 and 3) for a price lower then a cover price on eBay now.

i have the first five in TPB and the sixth in HC, simply because i didn't have the patience to wait for the paperback, which i regret now, because it drives me nuts seeing this one volume breaking the paperback harmony... TPB and HC have the same page count, the same art gallery, the same paper type, the only difference being that HC has the bookmark and well, the hard cover. and the quality of TPBs is pretty good. if i had to buy the series from scratch, i would definitely go for the slipcase, would be much cheaper.

Corto Maltese: Under the Sign of Capricorn
    Hugo Pratt (w & a & c)
This book, the first of 12 volumes, launches the definitive English language edition of Hugo Pratt’s masterpiece, presented in the original oversized B&W format with new translations made from Pratt’s original Italian scripts.
Long before the term “graphic novel” entered the popular lexicon—ten years before Will Eisner’s A Contract with God—Hugo Pratt pioneered the long-form “drawn literature” story. Corto Maltese set the standard for all adult adventure comics in Europe. By the mid-1970s Corto was the continent’s most popular series and Hugo Pratt the world’s leading graphic novelist.
Hugo Pratt’s peripatetic sailor was featured in a series of 29 stories. The adventures of this modern Ulysses are set during the first 30 years of the 20th Century in such exotic locales as Pratt’s native Venice, the steppes of Manchuria, the Caribbean islands, the Danakil deserts, the Amazon forests, and the waves of the Pacific.
Corto Maltese: Under the Sign of Capricorn collects the first six inter-connected short stories Pratt created in France in the early 1970s: “The Secret of Tristan Bantam,” “Rendez-vous in Bahia,” “Sureshot Samba,” “The Brazilian Eagle,” “So Much for Gentlemen of Fortune,” and “The Seagull’s Fault.”
    TPB • B&W • $29.99 • 140 pages • 9.25” x 11.75” • ISBN: 978-1-63140-065-0

Picked up Transformers Phase 2 HC volume 1. I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the size. Only containing 12 issues instead of the 18 plus that its predessesor contained. I do like the fact they include more covers in this collection and hope they continue that tradition. Now for TMNT IDW collection 1.

Anyone care to share some pics of Tarzan: The Complete Russ Manning Newspaper Strips? Interiors, spine design, etc.

I've been debating about adding it to my next order on IST.
