well, I just finished "Crazy Rich Asians". the reviews made it sound like an homage to Jane Austen and 80s late night soap operas... which sounded amusing enough. Michelle Yeoh stole the film for me: I really enjoyed that she wasn't played as a straight-forward villain but had some depth and complexity. the film was a bit more "Dynasty" than "Pride and Prejudice"... but I didn't mind. I don't expect much from romantic comedies and it delivered all of the necessary frivolities in a timely manner.
