Try using the search function. I believe there are at least two or three ongoing Doomsday Clock threads

But, to answer your question. I like it, but I wish it was moving a little faster.

Hey. As stated, there are a few threads kicking around somewhere. This one is a "What's everyone's take at the halfway point?" thread...

Interesting date regarding issue #8, but it does look like that was originally solicited for November 28th.
Wonder when the date changed (and, more importantly, why)?

the wait is killing the momentum, but then you get a good issue and then it's worth it. maybe the art is still being worked on still.

Disappointed, of course, by another delay (#8) but wow is that going to be a huge week for DC Comics. Here are just the books I'm most excited about from DC that week. Any one of these issues, including the latest chapters of Batman and JL (since I'm bowled over by both runs), would have me rushing to my LCS as soon as they have their books out.

This is an incredible number of comics from one publisher in a single week to be this excited by:

    Doomsday Clock #8
    Shazam #1
    Martian Manhunter #1
    Batman #60
    Justice League #13
    The Green Lantern #2
    Batman: Damned #2
    Deathstroke #38

Though it's way off topic and this thread will likely fall off the front page quickly or be combined with the myriad D-Clock threads, I'll go a little further to show how DC has something I'm super excited by every single week through January. To be clear, these are only the comics I'm SUPER excited about. They're not a comprehensive list of everything I'm getting/I like from DC, only the ones I can't wait to read...

    11/28/18
    Heroes in Crisis #3
    Aquaman/JL Drowned Earth Special #1
Wonder Woman #59 (I LOVED Willow/Nord's first issue)
Old Lady Harley #2 (so much better than I could have hoped)
Justice League Odyssey #3 (every JL book is amazing lately)
Action Comics #1005 (Okay Bendis, I'm sold)

    TPB: Eternity Girl

    12/05/18
    See above.

    12/12/18
    Batman and the Outsiders #1
    Batman Who Laughs #1
Detective Comics #994 (so excited for 1st issue by Tomasi/Mahnke)

Batman Annual #3 (by Tom Taylor!)
    Wonder Woman #60
    Justice League Dark #6
    Hawkman #7
    Superman #6

    12/19/18
Aquaman #43 (first issue by new creative team)
    Batman #61 (Gerads! Pyg!)
    Justice League #14 (Cheung!)
    Shazam #2

    01/02/19
    Heroes in Crisis #4
    Wonder Woman #61
    Detective Comics #995
    Justice League Odyssey #4
    Old Lady Harley #3
    Action Comics #1006

    01/09/19
    Young Justice #1
    Batman #62
    Justice League #15
    The Green Lantern #3
    Martian Manhunter #2
    Deathstroke #39

    01/16/19
    Wonder Woman
    Justice League Dark
    Batman Who Laughs
    Detective Comics
    Superman
    Hawkman

    01/23/19
    Doomsday Clock #9
    Batman
    Justice League
    Batman and the Outsiders
    Aquaman

01/30/19 (perhaps the week I'm most excited by of all these exciting weeks for DC)
Other History of the DCU #1
    Heroes in Crisis #5

    Justice League Annual #1
    Justice League Odyssey
    Detective Comics
    Wonder Woman
    Old Lady Harley
    Action Comics

I haven't been so excited for so many comics from my all-time favorite publisher since Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen first hit the stands. So many exciting new series'. So many truly terrific ongoings. So many creative team upgrades.

And on top of all that, I'm such an enormous fan of Heroes in Crisis and Doomsday Clock so far I can't even believe they're being published at the same time. Either one would have me over the moon with excitement. But it's not just one or the other; it's both of them plus an incredible number of other DC stuff I can't wait to get my hands on.

The best era for DC Comics (incl. Vertigo) was certainly post-Crisis when we got DKR and Watchmen and Man of Steel and JLI and so many incredible DC/Vertigo runs. And they came directly on the heels of New Teen Titans at the height of its greatness and a little book called Crisis on Infinite Earths. And of course Moore's Swamp Thing, Morrison's Animal Man, Gaiman's Sandman, Milligan's Shade... So many more... Those few years almost can't be touched.

But, to me, DC is closer to the greatness of those years than it ever has been before or since.

Back on topic, I freaking love Doomsday Clock. It has no business being as great as it has been so far.
