Congratulations to SquirrelMan for a cover which gets rid of excess and gets to the true impact of war. Fight without regard to one's surroundings. Joe Kuburt is a singular talent who I often failed to appreciate in my youth.
As to what the captain has learned this week, he has realized the cover showing the struggle between two combatants is a powerful tool to get the pojnt across as to what the book is about. We may say "no $#!+, sherlock", but when a talented artist positions characters and sets up the conflict, we can sometimes get more from that than from the twenty pages inside.
