Cute, i hope this leads to something
This is the X-book I'm currently looking forward to the most, as it seems the only one where something is actually happening and we can get a resolution for a years-long storyline. Out of the core books, X-Men Red has started moving at a snail's pace, X-Men Gold is just treading waters and X-Men Blue is basically setting up Extermination.
I'm thrilled for any book that sends the b0re5 back.
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

I have long been over death as a storytelling device in superhero comics, as it is waaay overdone, especially where Woman in a Refrigerator stories are concerned. That said, for characters that require Woman in a Refrigerator stories in order to be "compelling", I will say that this is the way it should be done.
Take a character that has importance, make some pointless alternate version, then kill her off when your hero needs to cry. You get the same effect without wasting a popular female character.
On another note, I genuinely wonder what Cable2 wants with Mimic.
Love this preview. Love that moment between O5 Cyclops and O5 Jean. These two really have brought out the best in one another since X-men Blue began. I really hope they get to share a few more moments before all is said and done. While the O5 may have overstayed their welcome, they've really grown on me and moments like this are why I'll miss them.

I get the feeling that everybody is going to die in this book. The only solution left will be to send the O5 back in time.
It's just speculation but i can see it happening.
I can understand him being torn up about Bloodstorm. His entire time there he's been going back and forth between his "destiny" with Jean then making peace with being ok and a girl comes a long that he likes; and as they are discussing their future together she dies. That would shake anyone, especially a teenager.
It's funny seeing Mimic. I was just rereading the X-Men legacy where him, Falcon, and She-Hulk come to the school. Maybe he needs Mimic as a decoy for one of the 05?
I bet they don't even know BloodStorm's real name
