Red X in the DCnU

Being a fan of the old Teen Titans series I would love to see the character adapted into comics. Granted it is speculated that his identity was Jason Todd it was never confirmed, so I think it would be a good way to revitalize the character and hopefully get some good stories out of it. I personally would love to see him in Grayson as a foil to Dick and a potential rival.

For a while, it looked like we were going to get a Red X from Joker's torture of Tim Drake. We even had a cover:

But this is Lobdell's Teen Titans, so instead we just got a boring Trigon arc and and evil horny Tim Drake with possible rape implications.
