I saw it too, and I gotta' say - it looks AMAZING! : D I really, really hope CDproject RED is able to deliver what they actually showed here, since sometimes these sorts of trailers aren't entirely accurate, but CPR does have a very good track-record of honesty and quality.

I get the sense the intent is to wait until the game is past possible delays to announce a date. If I recall, an earlier teaser trailer said something along the lines of it being released "when it's ready".

That's just a placeholder date. CDPR said that Cyberpunk is already fully playable from beginning to end. Not every asset is complete and there's still bugfixes to be done, but late 2019/early 2020 seems reasonable given what they've told us.
