First Look: Nightwing and Vicki Vale Partner Up

I haven’t really been digging the art in the main series, but I’m digging the art here. It’s stylish and expressive. Which is a good fit for Nightwing.
Also Vicki and Dick, ehh. I don’t know. Not really a fan of the idea. Don’t like him and Bruce sharing love interests. Former or otherwise.

The art here looks amazing, really can't wait to read this issue.

To be fair, there's been no indication that Bruce and Vicki have ever been together since the New 52 reboot. And Vicki was de-aged to be in Dick's age bracket back then anyways, so I'm not surprised by this. I do think the reaction is justified though, since Vicki is so heavily tied to Bruce, but I'm personally okay with it because it's not like any mainline Batman writer was going to write about her in a comic again anyways, it's been years since Batman Eternal, and this Nightwing Annual has been her only appearance since then afaik.

That aside, I wonder how this team-up will actually go.

Different eras, different times. I like the art as well.

Jason Bard was engaged to Barbara at one point, and then he dated Vicki Vale but now Vicki is interested in Dick, but she used to date Bruce but meanwhile Barbara and Dick are vague dating but Vicki is into Nightwing.

I so wish they could combine the eras again because I love X-Men type messed up continuity.

Anyways anyone feel like the did a color cover up on Vicki's hair? She's usually ginger and she is vaguely in some scenes, but I think they did it to avoid confusion with Babs. I mean I've never known Vicki to be a brunette.
