I honestly think it’s less about Marvel not wanting to age them and more like they just forgot about them. Since Laura who was a member of New X-Men is stated to be in her 20s.

I always thought prodigy would use his smarts and fighting genius to be like an ultimate fighting high tech warrior type dude. Something like battle angel alita.
