Lately, while in the middle of typing up a lengthy post (or when I pause any activity), I get logged out. I haven't seen anything here in Settings that would address it. I don't think it's Firefox, since this is the only site where this happens.

I have not had any such issues.
I recommend clearing your cookie cache and seeing what happens after you log back in.

It's happened to me quite a bit, actually. Doesn't matter what browser I use. I try to get around it when writing a lengthy post by clicking the preview button every now and then.

I don't know if this is similar but I have had it where I am posting and suddenly everything freezes up. I can't even CTL-ALT-DEL to get to the Task Mgr or CTL /Break to get out of it. And it is only on this site but very random.
I've had it happen a few times.
Well, let us know how it goes. We're always keen to hear feedback.

What I used to get is the just logging out because I've been 'idle' too long on my machine. I fixed that by clicked the "keep me logged in" button when I logged in.
So far since the MB has been "streamlined" (not sure what to call it), I've not had any posting issues.
