Uh, yeah, of that I think we can be certain.
I saw it as her trying to reach the Mutant man still there, locked deep down inside the monster. To try & bring out his humanity more, through some genuinely warm, and friendly physical contact. I think she sees somethin' in him the others don't, and did it instinctively, with the idea of eXpediting his healing in mind.
I don't think that she was truly hitting on Sean, as she probably would have done that if it had been Colossus or Alex or one of the others...at least to me...
Who was the artist on that panel? If it was Land you've kind of got to take it with a grain of salt. He oversexualizes a lot.
No, I do not. I focused on the contact, and his reaction to it. Just as a camera might, if it were a filmed scene. But that's just me. I'll have to check the immediate, previous panels tho, to review the flow.
And I do think whatever it made him feel, it might've been what set him off, so to speak:
